Seven batik textile works taken from my own personal experience and cultural inspiration. Each artwork incorporates a simplified symbol of ancient Iran that is condensed to reflect the constraints imposed during certain periods in the country’s history. Iranian Ancient presents seven pieces in the form of a square, which is a symbol for the Iranian heritage of strength and resistance by focusing on colour and movement.
